TYES is one of the first local organizations that are responding to the emergency needs of internally displaced people (IDPs) in the Tigray region. It has mobilized the provision of food aid, clothes, finance, and kitchen materials through its volunteers. TYES volunteers mobilized food and nonfood items from residents of Mekelle city, diaspora, and other cities and distributed them to the IDPs these include clothes and kitchen equipment. Moreover, orphan and vulnerable children have been supported by TYES volunteers.
