Due to the war in the region, many OVCs need support and care. TYES is supporting orphans and vulnerable children through individual volunteers. However, to address the challenge in a sustainable way community-based approach, formation and training of child protection committees, family integration, the establishment of care centers, community dialogue TYES staff; mobilizing and distributing food and nonfood items to the most war victims in the IDPs sites meetings, and support to community-led initiatives on child protection and policy advocacy are planned by TYES as areas of intervention
