The meeting commenced with warm introductions as representatives from Bioeconomy Africa and TYES. Both organizations began by sharing comprehensive profiles, offering insights into their respective missions, visions, and past endeavours. Bioeconomy Africa highlighted its focus on promoting sustainable development through the integration of biological resources into economic activities, while TYES underscored its dedication to empowering youth through education, skills training, and health support. Following the exchange of organization profiles, both parties recognized common thematic areas, particularly in youth empowerment, sustainable development, and environmental conservation. There was mutual acknowledgment of the complementary strengths each organization could offer in advancing shared objectives.

After a productive exchange of ideas and strategies, the meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to formalize their partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Both Bioeconomy Africa and TYES expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity to combine their expertise and resources to address pressing societal challenges and promote sustainable development.
