Training Date: June 4-5 /2023

Training Place: Mekelle,

TYES is independent nationally registered humanitarian organization that has been working on emergency response across its intervention areas in collaboration with Regional Health Bureau, UNICEF and other relevant partners. Furthermore, TYES has recently undertaken RCCE interventions integrated with the other complementary interventions. The organization has been implementing RCCE in selected woredas based on its operational plan. In recognition, UNECEF and RHB have recommended for a new PD on COVAX vaccination integrated with MNCAH activities to be implemented by TYES. Accordingly, TYES has organized a training for community leaders and volunteers and advocacy work shop for local administrative and other influential leaders, as well as community mobilization/community engagement on COVAX vaccination integrated with other maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent health (MNCAH) activities  in the  selected  zones ( Southern, South east and Mekelle zones) of  Tigray.

Accordingly, Tigray Youth Empowerment Solutions (TYES) in collaboration with Tigray Regional Health Bureau and UNICEF conducted advocacy training for 1916 community leaders and religious leaders from all woredas in, Mekelle, South, and South-East zones. The advocacy training was held from June 4-5/2023 in Mekelle.
